August is the month of companionship, celebrations, and good cheer. In this spirit, the Association invites you to celebrate this year’s Dekapentavgoustos (Mid-August / Dormition of the Mother of God) together on Saturday, August 15th, at the welcoming venue of the Dorfgemeinschaftshaus Achternmeer (Korsorsstraße 165, 26203 Wardenburg), where we all celebrated Greek Easter together in 2024 and 2025.
This year’s celebration is participatory, and there is no admission fee. The Association will take care of the venue, tents, tables, and seating, as well as the grills and charcoal. You bring your own meat or vegetables for grilling, your drinks, and any side dishes you like, so that everything can be shared at the common table.
There will be music for anyone who wants to dance, but above all, it will be an opportunity to meet up, catch up in person, and spend a beautiful summer evening together.
